Free Stuff

My coworker has a bucky book filled with coupons,

COUPONS!!!!!!!!

The Minnesotan in me is exuberantly happy!

One that she didn't want was good for a wooden spoon,
"$1.50 value max"

I get to the gitchy kitchen store and immediately (casual strolling pace, so they don't get suspicious) aim towards the spoons! SO GORGEOUS! Dark wood, light wood, so many to choose from, but wait...
none are for afore mentioned $1.50.

$5, $10, definately...Maybe that's allright?? A part of it is free!
I stroll some more.
A LEMON ZESTER! HOW HANDY!
The little glass mini cups that they use on those cooking shows for seasonings!
"A bit of peppa' " "A pinch of salt" "A prick of cayenne" I can see it already!
Little baby sugar spoons!
A mini quiche tart pan!

.....

and then it hit me.
I'm not supposed to be buying stuff.
I'm moving in 3 months.
Kitchen supplies are not ALLOWED!

and I put it all back, but I did head straight over to Trader Joe's to buy a large purchase of delicous food! So all is good!

Maybe you could fit the zester in a backpack? You can never have too many kitchen gadgets...

Nooo! Don't do it! The zester is going to take up vital space in your backpack! You need that for an extra pair of socks!

A latte

It's funny with jobs. Most often the exact thing you do for work is probably not what you want to run home to do at night or on vacatio...
